ESKILSTUNA PHOTO CLUB
Eskilstuna Photo Club was founded in 1939. At present, is one of the largest clubs in photography in Sweden with some 80 members of all ages. Everybody is welcome to join.

 

THE CLUB ROOMS
The club with its two dark rooms is situated in the basement of 9 Intagsgatan. It has its own entrance. Here you can make your own black and white and colour enlargements. There is also a studio, library, meeting room, kitchen and toilet.
We have about 120 m2 at our disposal.
You can book a dark room and the studio and borrow the key to the club rooms by contacting Folke Johansson, tel. 0730-48 83 98

 

CLUB MEETINGS
Members meet at the Club at Intagsgatan at 8.30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month from September through to May. Here the members can listen to a talk, look at photos, competitions, etc.
On the other evenings there are so-called “Open House” when members have the clubrooms for their own use or may take part in a course in photography or maybe some other activity.

 

COURSES
Courses in black and white and colour photography, in knowing about cameras and in studio photography are held continuously in the clubrooms. There are courses for beginners and for advanced studies.

 

COMPETITIONS – EXHIBITIONS
We can assist you to compete with your pictures or have them judged. EFK organises its own internal competitions and also takes part in larger competitions. EFK organises exhibitions in which you can participate with your own pictures. For more information contact EFK

Key to the Club rooms 150 SEK/year

 

REDUCTIONS
As a member of EFK you can usually have a reduction of 5-15% on photography materials at the following stores: Cityhusets Fototbutik, Expert Foto, Top Foto and Fox Foto.
Your membership fee pays for itself.
